To say we are excited about the inaugural Face Flawless Skin Clinic would be an understatement of gargantuan proportions! Since launching a few weeks ago, we have received lots congratulations, praise and tons of questions about the event. Here's a list of the most frequently asked questions.
Why did you start Face Flawless Skin Clinic?
We have been blogging and answering beauty questions for several years -- at the top of that list are questions from women of color about caring for their skin. It seems brown beauties everywhere want to know how to get rid of pimples, dark circles, hyperpigmentation and a list of other problems. We conceived Face Flawless Skin Clinic as a way to answer those questions in an intimate forum that puts us face-to-face with YOU! We wanted to remove the filters from the conversation and give you real and honest advice about caring for your skin.
Where will the event be hosted?
The Inaugural Face Flawless Skin Clinic will be held at the Martha Washington Hotel located at 29 E 29th St New York, NY 10016.
What are the date(s) and time(s) for the event?
The event will be held on November 14th, 2015. There are two sessions:
10 am - 12 pm
2pm - 4pm
What is the cost for tickets and where are they available?
Tickets cost $32.64 and are available on Eventbrite.
Will I be able to purchase tickets on the day of the event at the event location?
No tickets will be sold at the event location. All tickets must be pre-purchased. Click here to get your tickets now.
What can I expect at the Face Flawless Skin Clinic?
We will have lots of skincare information and brand experiences for you---please ensure you arrive on-time. Olay Skincare will be on hand to talk even skintone and their Regenerist Luminous line.
We’ll also talk skin texture and anti-aging plus show you how to correctly apply eye cream with RoC Skincare.
Celebrity makeup artist, the amazing Danessa Myricks, will lead a brief tutorial on how to use makeup to cover blemishes without overpowering your skin. Through the use of her newly launched lash line, Elevation Lashes, Danessa will showcase the power of lashes to "lift, shape and define" the eye.
Esthetician, Rachelle Richardson, of Lespri Spa Services will be in attendance discussing how a facial designed to promote cellular renewal can improve texture and hydration while revealing more even-toned and radiant skin.
Luxury Parsienne brand, Guerlain, will also be joining us to show you a few makeup tricks using their Terracotta Bronzing Powder line.
In addition to brand experiences and demos, there will be prizes and giveaways to attendees who are the most active on social media during the event. Prizes include items from Clarisonic and PMD Personal Microderm so be sure your phones are fully charged and ready to go! (Be sure all posts use #FaceFlawlessSkin and that your account is public.)
Will I be able to buy products from the brands in attendance?
No products will be sold at the event.
Should I come to the event wearing makeup?
Please come however you most feel comfortable. What’s most important to us is getting you valuable information. We’ll have plenty of photo taking opportunities and fun contests that involve posting on social so come however you feel most comfortable.
Will Face Flawless Skin Clinic be held in other cities?
